In Gabon, Alpha Centauri Mining S.A. (ACM), a company active in gold exploration and mining, has once again demonstrated its civic engagement. From Tuesday, October 17 to Saturday, October 20, 2023, more than 3,500 school kits were donated to pre-primary and primary school students in Ndjolé, Oyem, Makokou, Ntsenkele, and Maibought, in the presence of local officials, in line with its CSR policy.

In Ndjolé and Oyem, the donation was handed over by Serge Simo, geologist and ACM site manager; and in Makokou, Ntsenkele, and Maibought, Claude Théophile Onanga, ACM site HSE manager, presented the educational materials, along with local authorities and a delegation of teaching staff. This solidarity action aims to reduce the social burden on families and demonstrates Alpha Centauri Mining’s commitment to the community.
