Committed to a social policy focused on the sectors of health, education and the empowerment of young people and women, the company Alpha Centauri Mining recently drew up a first positive assessment of its achievements.
This involves the construction and rehabilitation of community infirmaries installed in the localities of Maybouth, Ntsenkele and Makala, located in the areas impacted by its operating activities. With more than 19,000 patients treated cumulatively since their commissioning in 2020, these local health structures are tasked with guaranteeing free access to medical care and the distribution of medicines.
“With an average attendance rate of 10 patients per day, these infirmaries have been able to effectively respond to primary healthcare needs in areas often far from hospital facilities,” explains the mining company.
This initiative, integrated into Alpha Centauri Mining’s inclusive vision, demonstrates the importance given to health as a lever for development and community stability.
“Our commitment is clear: to make healthcare a priority, supporting the areas that support our growth. These infirmaries are a concrete, sustainable, and humane response to a critical need,” said a representative of ACM management.
Alpha Centauri Mining thus reaffirms its desire to base its actions on respect for communities, the well-being of local populations and the harmonious development of Gabon.
