The Minister of the Environment, Ecology, and Climate, Mr. Mays Mouissi, received in audience a delegation from Alpha Centauri Mining (ACM), led by its Managing Director, Mr. Anand Bajla.

During this meeting, the senior manager of ACM provided a detailed presentation of the company’s activities, which is active in gold mining in Gabon. He emphasized ACM’s commitment to strict compliance with environmental standards, particularly through the implementation of environmental and social management plans in accordance with Gabonese legislation.

In response, the Minister of the Environment commended the company’s efforts to comply with environmental legislation and proposed conducting a field visit in the near future to assess the effective implementation of the environmental and social management plan.
