In a drive for economic diversification and the promotion of local agriculture, the Oyem Special Delegation, in partnership with the mining company Alpha Centauri Mining (ACM), launched the Oyem Agricultural Project. This initiative aims to modernize the agricultural sector through the use of the latest technologies and the training of a new generation of farmers.

An ambitious project for local agriculture. Spanning 6 to 7 hectares, which will be entirely protected by solar fences, including 8,000 m² of greenhouses, this innovative project is based on three production methods: soilless greenhouse cultivation, which allows for better control of growing conditions and optimizes yields; open-air cultivation, which uses local land for crop diversification; and terraced cultivation, adapted to sloping terrain to preserve the soil and improve its fertility.
