Alpha Centauri Mining, a key player in the mining industry, continues to stand out for its commitment to Gabon’s socioeconomic development. Since its establishment, the company has played a crucial role in generating employment, supporting education and health, and leading ambitious agricultural and environmental initiatives.

A Positive Record on Employment and Training

Over the past eight years, Alpha Centauri Mining has created nearly 1,581 jobs for Gabonese citizens. Currently, more than 300 Gabonese citizens work for the company, including 161 on permanent contracts (CDI), ensuring professional stability and a lasting contribution to the local economy. In addition, 103 Gabonese consultants also collaborate with the company.

To support this momentum, Alpha Centauri Mining has implemented continuing education initiatives. To date, 171 training sessions have been organized for its employees. In 2025, three additional training courses, including the training of local geologists, are planned to strengthen local skills and meet the growing demand for expertise in the mining sector. Since 2021, 192 million FCFA have been invested to train other Gabonese nationals not employed by the company.
